Somayeh Aghnia, Co-founder & CEO at Geeks, has been selected as the finalist for the Tech Businesswomen of the Year Award by UK Tech Awards 2022.

A technology strategist with a strong software delivery heritage, Somayeh thrives on creating harmony between technology and humans in business and life. Apart from being tech-savvy, Somayeh has been an active advocate to motivate and inspire women to join the tech world. She is a torchbearer for those girls who feel reluctant and naive to discover the tech industry's potential. 

Getting shortlisted as the finalist in the UK tech awards 2022 spotlights her dedication and sincerity to the industry. 

UK Tech Awards celebrates success and rewards achievements raising the profile of the UK tech community. Providing an avenue to showcase the fast-moving tech sector, it had over 800 attendees this year.
